In Sleight of Hand, Snic pays tribute to illusion and the mysteries within the act of creation. The title is a signal to the art of glassblowing, a craft that often seems like magic to the observer. This work is an example of the artist's ultimate interpretation of psychedelic folk art, a journey that began with Programmable Matter (2016). Snic adds to his repository of symbolism, introducing a new array of signs and sigils. The artist infuses explicitly psychedelic themes to stir emotions and conjure visions of an altered reality, similar to a hallucinatory state.
